Michelle Peters Wellington joins Vistagen as the Vice President, Communications, overseeing all aspects of the company’s communications strategy. With over 15 years of experience in media relations, crisis communications, storytelling, thought leadership, and advocacy, Ms. Wellington brings a wealth of expertise to the role.
Prior to Vistagen, Ms. Wellington was with the national public affairs firm SKDK, where she served as an Executive Vice President. At SKDK, she developed communications and media relations strategies across sectors, with a specialty in biotech and healthcare. Previously, she held senior roles in corporate and healthcare communications firms.
Ms. Wellington is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
