Mary L. Rotunno, J.D., joined our Board of Directors in July 2021 and is Chair of our Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of our Audit Committee. Ms. Rotunno actively advises life sciences and health care startup companies and currently serves on the Board of Directors of SaNOtize Research & Development Company and as Chair of its Compensation/Governance Committee. She is past Board Chair and current Chair of the Audit and Compensation Committees for Momentum for Health, a mental health care provider in Silicon Valley. Over the past 10 years, until January 2024, Ms. Rotunno served as General Counsel and Member of the Executive Leadership Team at El Camino Health, a $1.4 billion revenue healthcare system. Before joining El Camino Health, Ms. Rotunno spent over 11 years as Senior Counsel and Client Service Leader for Common Spirit Health, formerly Dignity Health, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to Dignity Health, she held various legal roles at Varian Medical Systems, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, Golden Living, and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pitman. She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked as a registered nurse before earning her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). Ms. Rotunno is an NACD-certified director and has completed Stanford Directors' College.
